The current CGEIT exam covers 5 IT governance domains. The CGEIT review course will provide practical advice on preparing for the CGEIT exam and specific instruction regarding the job practice areas addressed by CGEIT as defined by ISACA International. This includes:

· Domain 1: Framework for the Governance of Enterprise IT
· Domain 2: Strategic Management
· Domain 3: Benefits Realization
· Domain 4: Risk Optimization
· Domain 5: Resource Optimization

Entrance requirements:
This training class is presented as a revision course on the assumption that students have already read through the exam manual.

To gain maximum benefit from this course, students should have read through the prescribed ISACA exam review manual and if possible, the official CGEIT questions database in advance of the class start. It is recommended that students bring the CGEIT Review Manual to class each day.

Your Trainer – Rob Payne:
Rob Payne, an ex CIO – now a strategic management consultant – has thirty years management experience in various industries, organisation and geographies – including international experience (London, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Singapore). Rob specialises in aligning the IT strategy with the enterprise strategy, and in the establishment of IT governance within the enterprise. Rob is accustomed to engaging at C-suite level while building productive teams within a general management framework – through the application of performance management practices based on Balanced Scorecard methodologies.
As well as being certified in the governance of enterprise IT, Rob is a professional musician and qualified yachtmaster!

Dr Mariana Carroll is a passionate technology specialist and academic who specialises in emerging opportunities and trends in the technology sector. For ten years she has consulted on major projects to large companies around the globe, advising leading enterprises on cutting edge research, insights and solutions with a strong focus on Africa.

Mariana became a Certified ISA in 2006, and went on to completing her PhD in IT Governance and Risk Management in 2012. She has many publications to her name and has taken part in a number of expert panel discussions for ISACA and other major organisations. She currently splits her time between authoring her book on Cloud Computing Governance, lecturing at leading Universities, consulting and developing and delivering training.

Your Trainer – Malcolm Parker:
Malcolm Parker (CISA, CISM, CIPP/US) is a governance, risk and compliance professional with over 15 years of working experience within audit, advisory, consulting and commerce.
Malcolm has a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Information Systems from University of Cape Town. He also obtained post graduate diplomas in Accounting and Advanced Auditing from the University of Natal and National School of Accounting respectively.
